Description
Because this photograph, through the use of a light aircraft (see biography) was taken at such a height, it has a semi-abstract quality which belies the detail which Holloway, when you look closer, actually captures. But as it is, this photograph, with its veins and ridges, reminds of some vast epidermis – the skin, not here of an animal, but rather of the very land itself.
