Camden Lock – Julian Trevelyan

Locks are both access routes and points for ‘gongoozling’ (Linconshire canal-worker slang for those who stand and stare – gawp, we might say – although the term ‘gongoozler’ is still very much used by those know the canals). But this is also very much London: the Thames; the red double-decker bus; the fisherman and the church spire. This is a lyrical evocation of a point in time by the famous Camden Lock.

Format: Giclée Print, Limited Edition (1/950) on 310gsm thick, 100% cotton rag. Hand-numbered and hand-embossed.

Size: Image: 37.0 x 51.0; paper: 49.0 x 61.0 cm
