Description
Linocut (1933). Printed from 3 blocks in Cobalt Blue; Vermilion; Grey. Original image size: 22.0 x 26.0cm. In 1930's Paris there were many more newsstands, or kiosks, than now. Perched like ruffled pigeons in rows along the cobbled banks of the Seine, they stocked newspapers, pictures, second-hand books and manuscripts. You can just make out the kiosquier in the recesses of this enchanting print.

Format: Giclée Print, Limited Edition (1/850) on 310gsm thick, 100% cotton rag. Hand-numbered and hand-embossed.
